Keith Sutherland is a service management leader, consultant, and educator who helps organizations translate strategic intent into practical, executable outcomes. Known for his ability to connect strategy, systems, and people, he brings clarity and momentum to complex transformations across industries.

As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Service Management Dynamix (SMDx), Keith is a fully accredited instructor and senior consultant across multiple frameworks and methods. His work spans manufacturing, information technology, healthcare, and banking and finance. He is also a published author, speaker, and widely recognized storyteller, including co-authoring A Practical Guide to Service Management (2023).

Keith’s approach is grounded in design thinking and systems thinking, with a strong belief that sustainable results come from relationships, stewardship, and purpose. He is trusted by organizations for his ability to move seamlessly from strategy to tactics to operational execution, always with a focus on outcomes and people.

Outside of his professional work, Keith draws inspiration from endurance sports and the natural world, including marathon running, fly fishing, and birding. He and his wife, Holly, are based in Central Illinois, in Peoria.
